I disagree that “advertising attracts all the creative and ambitious young people”, but it does kill me how unimaginative and immature so much modern art is.  The only communication I get from a lot of modern artists is: “Is this art?”
Marcel Duchamp did his toilet piece like 100 years ago, art students.  Can we move on to something more interesting?  The provacateurs are no longer provacative.
I’m dying for some new visual art, last artist I looked into and enjoyed was Egon Schiele (check out this portrait).  Suggestions welcome, any medium will do…
