The quote is from Bush, before to the vote. It’s an interesting line of thinking, because as my new favorite financial commentator Paul Kedrosky said, problems in financial services are by definition metastasized throughout the economy.
(Because these firms work with all sectors, big and small companies, and the consumer, the cancer is already everywhere at once). Things are going to change massively whether the bill passes or not.
