The Geography of Now

This NOW has always been and will always be the defining feature of true status. Yet, now that we have the tools to broadcast our now in real time, the sky is no longer the limit for how we collectively want to make this NOW the most incredible and lasting status for our brave new world.

Between Google Latitude, Twitter, Facebook Status API, and John Borthwick’s piece, lots of chatter about the real-time web. The most interesting angle on it for me is Borthwick’s because he focuses on search.

I really really recommend that post if you haven’t read it already.

Also, Fred’s piece, and especially the comments, are very interesting. But, his stuff is always like that ;-)
