i can’t believe how quickly this record has taken shape. it seems like just a year and a half ago that we were putting the final vocals on a song!!
who knew that three schedules would leave this much room for recording?
in 2005, if you told me that we would each have 2.5 solid years to dedicate solely to the making of an album, i’d have struck you with a jab to the rib only then to explain how crazy i thought you were to say something so silly.
who has 2 1/2 years to dedicate to anything these days, especially extremely self-indulgent, obscure, and isolation provoking music?
