A lot of people talk about how Google is “all about numbers” but I think if you look at something like this, you’ll see a pretty deep and holistic understanding of social/cultural values and “user experience” (which is another way of saying “how people interact in software mediated environments”).
This is still one of the best examples of design thinking applied to problem solving.
